President Donald Trump said the United States and Iran are close to a deal that could end weeks of military conflict, with negotiations covering nuclear terms, the fate of enriched uranium, and control of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump warned, however, that without an agreement, American bombing campaigns would continue.
